The 12 week Phlebotomy Technician Program at the National College of Phlebotomy in Chicago equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to become competent phlebotomists.

Class Schedule

Active participation and regular attendance are expected from all students. The course load, including makeup time, is limited to 40 hours per week unless voluntarily extended by the student.

Admission Requirements and Procedures

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of high school graduation or equivalent (e.g., GED). The admission process involves scheduling an appointment with an admissions representative, submitting photo ID and proof of education, completing an enrollment agreement, paying the registration fee, and arranging payment methods.

Certificate Requirements

To receive a certificate of completion, students must comply with attendance policies, fulfill financial obligations to the school, and maintain professional and ethical conduct.

Placement Assistance

While the National College of Phlebotomy offers guidance and resources for employment, it does not guarantee job placement. Students are responsible for securing their own employment.

Tuition and Fees

The total cost for the Phlebotomy Technician Program is $2,195. This includes a non-refundable registration fee of $75, books, supplies, board exam fees, uniform, and laboratory fees.

Financial Assistance

The college accepts WIOA Grants/Voucher Program and offers flexible payment plans. Installment plans are available, with a late fee for delayed payments. Payment methods include cash, credit card, Cash App, and Zelle. Certificates and other documents may be withheld until full payment is made.

Obtaining Student Transcripts

Transcripts are available upon written request. The first transcript is free, with a $10 charge for additional copies. Same-day service is available for $20.

Transfer Policy

While the college’s courses are approved by IBHE-PBVS, there are no articulation agreements with other institutions for guaranteed transfer of credits. Students must contact the institution they are interested in transferring to for credit evaluation.
