Course Content and Certification

The curriculum covers technical and procedural aspects of basic phlebotomy, including blood specimen collection, venipuncture, and dermal puncture. Students will learn about the role of phlebotomy technicians, anatomy and physiology, safety measures, and patient interaction. Upon completion, with an average grade of “C” (75%) or above, students receive TTI’s Phlebotomy Technician Certificate and are eligible for the NHA CPT certification examination.

Hybrid Learning and Clinical Experience

Due to COVID-19, TTI has adapted to a hybrid learning model, combining online lectures with in-person training. Students also complete an externship practicum, gaining hands-on experience in clinical settings.

The program aims to prepare students to perform various phlebotomy tasks proficiently, ensuring safety, and effective communication in healthcare environments. Graduates will be competent in blood collection, specimen processing, infection control, and professional patient interaction.
